The Senate has rejected the nomination of American-based professor,
Akintunde Akinwande, as the head of the National Electricity Regulatory
Commission, Premium Times reports.
Mr. Akinwande was rejected for his failure to attend confirmation hearing. The decision was announced Tuesday.
